Otterly (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a matchmaking application owned and operated by Timpra. By installing or using Otterly, you agree to the handling of your information as described below. If you do not accept these terms, delete the app and stop using the service.
1. Why do we collect personal data
- Create and maintain your account
- Show your profile to potential matches (age, gender, interests, location radius, photos, etc.)
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud
- Improve the app through analytics and bug-fixing
- Send you essential emails, push notifications, or SMS about account activity, billing, and occasional promotions (you can opt-out of marketing at any time)
Where consent is required—e.g., for precise location, cookies, promotional emails—we ask first. You can withdraw consent in the app settings; previous processing remains lawful.

We keep overdue payment contact details until the balance is cleared.
3. How we share data
- Matches: Only the profile elements needed for two users to judge compatibility.
- Service providers: Cloud hosting, analytics, payment processors—strictly under contract.
- Legal requests: When a court or regulator with jurisdiction compels us.
- No sales, ever: We do not sell personal data.
4. Your choices & rights
- Access / download / correct: Use in-app tools or email us.
- Delete account: Done from settings; we erase or anonymise most data within 30 days, except for a three-year backup window required for disaster recovery and outstanding payment issues.
- Opt-outs: Disable push/SMS/email marketing in settings.
- Withdraw consent: Turn off location or cookie permissions in your device or browser.
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is role-based and logged. Nevertheless, the internet isn’t 100% secure; you use the service at your own risk.
6. International storage
Servers may sit outside your country. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect cross-border transfers.
7. Children
Otterly is for adults 18+. If a minor registers, email GetOtterly@gmail.com so we can delete the account promptly.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes appear in-app, and continued use means you accept the revised terms.
